TAMPA, Fla. – USL Academy announced on Tuesday the 2024 USL Academy League Finals All-Tournament postseasons teams, honoring the top performers across the four days of competition at IMG Academy that concluded this past Sunday.
Indy Eleven and the Richmond Kickers each earned four selections to the All-Tournament First Team, with Indy leading all clubs with seven selections overall after it claimed the title for a second time in four years.
Leading the contingent earning First Team honors for the Boys in Blue were Golden Ball winner Jake Alb and Golden Boot winner Fynn Lahrsen. They were joined by Levi Dewey – who notched a pair of assists in the side’s 2-0 win against AC Connecticut in the tournament finals – as well as defender Lincoln Minzey.
The Kickers, meanwhile, were represented by Golden Glove winner James Sneddon, defenders Griffin Garnett and Beckett Howell and forward Nicholas Simmonds. Garnett’s selection added another accolade to his resume after his nomination in November as a Finalist for the USL League One Young Player of the Year award.
AC Connecticut’s Daniel Istambouli, El Paso Locomotive FC’s Saul Perez and Real Colorado’s Leonardo Soltero rounded out the All-USL Academy First Team selection after stan ding out prominently for their respective sides.
Among the notable selections in the All-Tournament Second Team were El Paso Locomotive FC defender Kenneth Hoban, who on Monday was unveiled as the youngest professional signing in Locomotive history, and the Indy trio of goalkeeper Ryan Hunsucker, Maverick McCoy and Victor Aguilar.
