ELKHART, Ind. – Three days after earning a draw with second-ranked Flint City Bucks, Oakland County FC returned to its winning ways Tuesday night on the road and came away with a 3-2 victory over the Michiana Lions in USL-League Two Great Lakes Division play at Sharpe Stadium.
Oakland County FC scored three goals in the first half and held on for the three points to move to 4-7-1 overall on the season in Great Lakes Division play.
Chewe Mukuka scored in the 18th and 27th minutes to lead Oakland County. Charlie Wilson added the eventual game-winner in the 40th minute in a game played under steady rainfall.
Only Midwest United FC and the Flint City Bucks have clinched USL-League Two postseason berths out of the Great Lakes Division.
