ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The journey will again continue in the postseason for the Flint City Bucks.

Visiting Flint City qualified for the postseason for the 26th time in the last 28 seasons with a 2-1, come-from-behind victory over AFC Ann Arbor Wednesday in a USL League Two Great Lakes Division contest.

The Bucks (9-0-2) remained one of just a few unbeaten teams in the USL-League Two and eliminated division rival Kalamazoo FC from the postseason hunt and can finish no less than second place in the Great Lakes Division.

The Bucks have three more regular season games and have 29 total points – just two points behind GLD leader Midwest United FC’s 31 points. A Flint City victory in any of the Bucks’ three remaining games will give Flint City the division title. Midwest United FC has completed its USL-League Two regular season schedule with a 10-3-1 record.

Abdul Al-Rashed scored the game-winner in the 56th minute off a cross from Schinieder Mimy and an ensuing flick from Jendrik Dallman inside the box. Al-Rashed cashed in a big paycheck from close range to put the Bucks up for good.

Kai Phillips tied the game with a penalty kick goal in the 38th minute for Flint City, which reached the USL North American Final Four the last two seasons.

Antonio Lima scored in the 30th minute for AFC Ann Arbor, which remained in fourth place but was eliminated from the postseason hunt the previous week. Ann Arb or (6-4-2) has 20 points with two games remaining.
