MICHIGAN SUBURBAN COACHES ASSOCIATION BOYS STATE SOCCER TOURNAMENT 1975-1981:
(The Michigan Suburban Soccer Coaches Association sponsored the boys soccer state tournament from 1975-1981 before the MHSAA took over sanctioning the sport in 1982. Prior to 1975, there were a couple of dozen soccer programs in Michigan during the 1960s and early 1970s that competed in the sport but there was no state-wide tournament in place.
