SHELBY TWP., Mich. – Veteran journalist Daniel Stickradt will be joining the ranks for the Premier Media Group, Michigan Soccer Network and affiliated companies. He will join the staff March 4. Leading the newsroom as Director of News, Stickradt will serve as Communications Director, Web and Content Editor, Social Media Manager and assist with student interns and freelance contributors as well as assist the regional and national digital advertising sales team. He will also assist the broadcast team as a color commentator/game analyst at high school, amateur, club, semi-pro and college sports where the PMG and MSN have broadcast rights for games and special events.
Stickradt has worked in the Michigan media circles in different capacities since 1992, working in full-time, part-time or freelance positions for dozens of organizations and media outlets. Previously,Stickradt was a key contributor for the PMG-MSN websites and also a contributor to some broadcasts in Michigan and abroad. Stickradt will also be a part of weekly and monthly in-studio shows in the upcoming months.
“Dan has been a staple in the soccer community and sports community for more than 30 years,” said Jonathan Turner, a partner is the organization and Director of Broadcasting for the PMG and MSN. “He brings in a ton of experience and wealth of knowledge for soccer and other sports. Bringing Dan into the organization has been the No. 1 priority in 2024 to handle our communications and news division in writing and coverage. His wealth of knowledge and contacts is incredible.”Stickradt, who currently resides in Rochester Hills, Mich., has also worked in the fields of insurance and private investigations in recent years while maintaining his presence in the media circles in Michigan, contributing to newspapers, digital media outlets, magazines, club sports organizations and sports governing bodies.
Stickradt is a 1990 graduate of Rochester (Mich.) High School and a 1999 graduate of Oakland University (Auburn Hills, Mich.), where he holds a degree in Journalism and Communications. He grew up playing multiple sports and lettered in both soccer and track and field while in high school.
