BOYS SOCCER: The Next 30 Goalkeepers / Next 150 Field Players
Below are some of the other top players in the state through Sept. 5. The following players either earned some type of postseason recognition last season (All-League, All-District, All-Region, All-County, All-Area or in some instances All-State) or fast-rising prospects in both the high school and club scene, players that came back from an MLS Next Academy club team, or players who are simply off to fine starts this season. Three rounds of preseason surveys were issued in late July through August to over 520 high schools in Michigan, to both coaches as well as athletics directors and athletics personal asking them to make sure the coaching staff returned a preseason survey. Additionally, over 250 phone interviews with high school and club coaches, and even some college coaches who all gave their opinion on some of the best players in the state or in their particular area of the state.
Be sure to check out our Other Players to Watch, a position-by-position listing of additional noteworthy players for the 2024 season.
